Now that corporate CEOs, right-wing billionaires and wealthy special interests have succeeded in getting the U.S. Supreme Court to do their bidding and rule in their favor in the Janus v. AFSCME case, be prepared for their next campaign – lying to you to get you to drop your union.

Also, don’t let the Janus ruling get you down. Our union has been preparing for this adverse ruling and has been taking steps to ensure we grow stronger despite this setback. AFSCME President Lee Saunders explains in this op-ed in The Hill newspaper.

Here’s an excerpt from that piece:

“We will organize in our workplaces and our communities — more than 18,000 people have joined AFSCME through new organizing campaigns just since 2016. We will educate about issues affecting working people. We will fight for racial and economic justice. We will mobilize people to take collective action — and that includes encouraging them to vote for pro-worker candidates in the November elections.”
