CHICAGO – Cab Drivers United/AFSCME Local 2500 member Cheryl Miller landed the fare of a lifetime when Andrew Zimmern of Travel Channel’s “Bizarre Foods” fame came to Chicago to film his new series “Driven by Food.” 

Miller was one of two Chicago cab drivers chosen to drive Zimmern around town last fall and share with him their favorite eating, drinking and entertainment establishments.

Miller has long been part of Cab Drivers United’s organizing committee. Along with her brothers and sisters at Local 2500, she has made great strides in providing cab drivers with the respect and justice they deserve. 

The Chicago episode will be aired February 21. Here’s a snippet featuring Miller:
