WHEREAS:

The Uniformed Corrections Officers Associations (UCOA) and other law enforcement employee organizations unaffiliated with the AFL-CIO have, actively raided AFSCME and AFL-CIO affiliated law enforcement bargaining units; and

WHEREAS:

Contrary to Article 20 of the AFL-CIO Constitution some AFL-CIO affiliates continue to raid AFSCME law enforcement bargaining units.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That AFSCME condemns the raiding of AFSCME law enforcement bargaining units by both non-AFL-CIO organizations and AFL-ClO affiliates.
